Questions, answered

Is my image uploaded?

No. Colours are calculated in your browser, so the image never leaves your device.

How are the colours chosen?

The tool groups similar pixels (k-means clustering) and shows the main colours ordered by how much of the image they cover.

What do the contrast numbers mean?

They show how readable text in that colour is on white or dark backgrounds. 4.5:1 or higher passes WCAG AA for normal text.

Can I use the codes in Canva or Figma?

Yes — copy the HEX codes and paste them straight into Canva, Figma, Photoshop or your website CSS.
